The Isle of Skye is a magical place.  The scenery is dramatic, diverse and inspirational.  There are mountains, glens, lochs and rugged coastlines.  It is rich in history and archeology.  There is a wide range of wildlife, on the land, in the sea and in the air.  Whether you come to walk or climb, cycle or kayak, photograph or paint, or simply to relax and unwind there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Let us help you to enjoy your stay here.  Please make use of the many books, guides and maps we have available to plan your days.  We are always happy to offer advice and guidance.

From Portree:  Take the A87 signposted to Uig.  After 4 miles take turn onto the A850 signposted to Dunvegan.  Continue for approximately 8 miles.  Take the right hand turn for Fanks.  Drive for a half a mile and then take left turn (opposite an 'A-frame' wooden chalet).  Go past the first turning on the left (Tiagh na Laige).  We are then the next turning on the left.
